Blanching Tomatoes

Blanching tomatoes is a simple process that just takes a few minutes. Start by marking an “X” into the bottom of a ripe tomato.

Drop tomato carefully into boiling water.

Remove after 15 seconds and put into a bowl of ice water.

Easily peel the skin off! (The skin should peel off tightly)

These tomatoes are perfect for salsa, marinara, canning, etc….
